Greta Paa-Kerner
Greta Paa-Kerner is a seasoned business practitioner who applies 20+ years of marketing experience to consulting and academia. Her comprehensive career spans all aspects of marketing from strategy to implementation, above-the-line to below-the-line, client to agency, B2B to B2C, online to offline and start-up to Fortune 100 companies. She is highly recommended for her breadth of experience, organisational skills, and engaging public speaking style.
She is a visiting lecturer at the Institute of Direct & Digital Marketing (IDM) and Regent’s University London. She designed and delivers an integrated graduate digital marketing communications core module.
In addition, Greta works as an independent consultant which helps her keep a pulse on the dynamic changes in the private sector. Working with agencies, small companies and multi-nationals, she helps organisations turn their ideas into action.
Previously, Greta was the Managing Director of European Operations and Global Head of Marketing for an affiliate marketing agency. In the MD role she was responsible for the financial oversight, agency growth, team management and client care of the European branch. In addition, as Head of Global Marketing, she spearheaded the development of the agency’s global marketing function including marketing strategy, best practices, planning and execution. She hired and trained the team to execute the B2B marketing plan which included webinars, press releases, blogs, private events, trade shows, email marketing, channel partner marketing and social media.
Greta has also held various marketing and business development roles at Hewlett Packard, Publicis and Barclays Wealth including Program Manager, Key Account Manager and Product Manager.
Rob Kerner
A international strategist and innovator, Rob has worked across multiple industries/countries for various Fortune 100 firms (HP, RBS, John Deere) . He brings structured thinking to projects as well a very creative, consultative approach that drives the best solution for his clients.
He has just finished five years with RBS where he worked in the bank-wide strategy team for 3 years and spent the last 2 years building the innovation team for Personal and Business Banking.
Prior to this role he worked at Ganduxer Ltd with diverse brands like Apple, HP, Ansell Healthcare and Taylor Guitars. He also was involved in 3 start-ups ranging from a giftware company in the UK, a music technology start-up in London and global survey company based in Amsterdam. He tends to work with executives to identify strategic issues that are blocking performance, including management skills and culture.
Before venturing out on his own, Rob worked for 10 years at two large multi-nationals, Hewlett Packard (in both the US and Spain) and John Deere in San Diego, CA. He held various roles from finance, operations to marketing usually involving complex matrix-organization stakeholder management situations.
Rob’s first career took him from university into the US Navy as F-14 fighter pilot. He spent 10 years in various locations including a deployment in 1993 to the Mediterranean to support the UN peace-keeping mission to Bosnia.
He has a Mathematics degree from Villanova University in Philadelphia, Pa, an MBA from San Diego State University and has attended executive International Marketing training at INSEAD.
